Recovering from a heartbreak can be brutal.
Alex fled the country, skipped classes, backpacked in the region, and finally got home — still heartbroken. His friends, lecturers, schoolmates tried to hunt him down.
He forced himself into hiding, but there was this art assignment he needed to hand in before he could graduate from his Masters programme.
Life was dialling his number, but he wasn’t ready to call back. He kept on running.
It was a scary time. He didn’t trust himself, he doubted everything, and even doubted his art. In his grief, he meets another artist, a like-minded, kindred soul, who inspires him to just take his time and take it slow.
They realise they had more in common than just having the same name.
This time, picking up the paintbrush wasn’t so difficult.
He was finally ready to pick up his life where he last left.
