Film on crazy dancing (taichi + hiphop!) wins at Hong Kong Film Awards

A dance film with a mix of hip-hop, breakdancing, tai chi and parkour won three awards at the 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards yesterday. A crazy mix, right? Well it was befitting the Chinese translation of the title, roughly ‘A crazy dance style’, or ‘crazy dancing.’

The Way We Dance by Adam Wong was called “a cracking spectacle” by Hollywood Reporter, and “a truly inspirational film” by Chow Yun Fatt, who also added that “newcomer Babyjohn Choi is going to take the reign from Stephen Chow!

Emphasis ours, especially… because… wow…. Stephen Chow should watch his back!
