This gallery attendant was going to have dinner alone tonight, but an encounter with an inquisitive young boy was all the dinner conversation he needed.
The boy approached him and shared a drawing of a beachscape from his backpack, expressing interest in art and his aspirations of also being an artist.
Humoured, the attendant agreed to tour the gallery together. Arriving at his favourite artwork, another beachscape, the precocious boy posed him a question that made him pause.
He has the wisdom of ages, but he too, looked at the world with new eyes, through the eyes of a child.
