Moulin is thinking about life after death. It’s on his mind after he nearly dies from a fatal fall. And according to the priest who saves him, for a miserly recluse like him, heaven is still attainable – but it comes with a rather hefty price tag.
The Model XV-750 is his ticket to heaven, a fully decked out ship that will take him to the gateways of paradise. No guarantees or warranties though, as the man of the collar reminds him it’s all about faith.
He needs to believe in the scheme for it to come true.
The miser is reluctant to part with his money and the priest is too excited to get his hands on it. But both of them forgot a crucial rule.

‘Even Pigeons Go To Heaven’ received a nomination in the 2007 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
