Coming To Terms With A Friend’s Suicide

These troubled youths regularly meet as a support group for each other. This week, their friend Laura is predictably late. Bored and grumpy, struggling with a dead TV remote, everyone finds the delay annoying.

The group receives sudden news of Laura’s suicide. In denial and shock, everyone sinks into devastation. Guilt transforms into throwing rage and accusations at each other.

There are many emotions and conflict to work through, as everyone grieves the loss of their friend.

If this support group couldn’t help Laura, why do they assume they can help each other?

This group is forever changed, and they’ll have to come to terms with it — this time, without Laura.
