The ill pet is what prompts Lionel to break his self-imposed exile from society and seek help. Belinda, is the first guest he’s received in 10 years and she doesn’t need to be a doctor to diagnose what’s really wrong here.
To save Norman, she needs to heal Lionel’s defeated spirit. The fate of these two birds play out over the ping-pong table, where Lionel gets a chance to avenge a haunting loss.
