This kid finally saved enough for his first camera, one he eyed for a very long time. But life happened, and life one of the first lessons he had was about priorities, patience, and what matters most in life.
Sitai lives with his disabled father, and unlike his friends, he works. He delivered goods in a makeshift cart around the village to help his family make ends meet.
His life wasn’t easy, but he took it with stride.
And just when he was so close to getting his own camera, life threw him a curveball.
‘Sitai’ is based on a true story about the life of Saiful Nang, the film’s producer. According to Saiful’s Facebook page, he is now a successful photographer, motivational speaker, author, and the founder of a youth and orphan development centre.
Here’s another inspiring story, ‘They Don’t Like Me’ by Leroy Low, about the tenacity and conviction of a kid who was unfriended in school for being different.
