When a devastating medical condition made Crystal Goh lose her voice, she isolated herself from others.
In an extraordinary turn of events, she slowly regained her ability to speak after two years. Then she started singing again.
The miracle of music didn’t just stop there. Together with friends, she shared her music with disadvantaged children and witnessed how music continued to heal people around here.
Here’s what happened after six months.
Crystal works through Diamonds on the Street, an arts collective that empowers marginalised communities through music, stories and performances, in the belief that they can turn their wounded histories into stories of hope.
