Meet Roger Sarsua, a supervising technician who cycles 24km to work from Quezon City to Metro Manila.
Cycling was always his choice of transportation: it is the cheapest and most efficient solution to beat Manila’s traffic and high transportation cost.
His wife worries, obviously. He’s lucky to survive a few road accidents in the last 28 years, as cyclists are at obvious disadvantage on the road.
Roger manoeuvres through traffic, road obstructions, insufficient bike lanes and complacent motorist who block and disrespect his right as a cyclist.
In this short documentary, Roger shares his thoughts on his right as a cyclist, his worries, and how he rescued a beloved bicycle from a fire!
