She Said She Would Be Back In Time For Dinner, But She Never Made It

“I’ll be back in time for dinner,” Charlie had messaged her dad.

But she didn’t.

In fact, she never came back from that hike with her friends.

She was too young, too lively, too loved. But these meant nothing to death, who had snatched her away before her time.

All her dad was left with was her memories. And her phone. The phone with snapshots from her last day.

He needed to pick up the pieces. He needed to find something to live for.

So he found his own way to relive her last day. Over and over again. That was his only way to spend time with her.

Even though she was gone.
