In the slums, one less hand working was one less dollar earned,
In a fit of helplessness, she rips his dream apart. It’s a reminder of how this brutal life works.
But in her heart of hearts, mother was still a provider, and she made the best of what they have.

‘Colourkite’ won the Jury Honorable Mention at the 8th International Inter University Short Film Festival, as well as accolades for Best Director and Best Actress at the FocAct International Short Film Festival, Bangladesh. It has also been screened in youth film festivals in South Korea and Norway.
