A Lonely Old Man Bought A Robot Dog, Bit Off More Than He Could Chew

Meet the Pal Dog 3000.

It was man’s best friend as conceived in the future — good company without daily inconveniences like cleaning.

For this lonely old man, it seemed like a suitable companion to replace his deceased pet. Bar its hefty price tag.

Undeterred, he bought a cheaper option. It wasn’t quite as sophisticated, but he figured it’d do the trick.

While this robot dog didn’t have built-in instincts geared towards its master’s needs, it could be mind-controlled via a headgear.

His first tests were successful. As unsettling and primitive as this pet was, he could learn to love it.

But then the dog started reading him a little too well. He may have bitten off more than he can chew.

Electrical or not, this dog knew its master’s desires and would fulfil it the best way it knew how.
