This young man is almost at his wits’ end with his grandmother.
They live together in a cramped flat in Hong Kong, filled with junk collected by his hoarder grandmother.
It wasn’t easy to convince her to throw anything away, so this guy took things into his own hands, despite his degenerative eye disorder. He was slowly going blind.
But his eyes opened when he realised the significance of his grandmother’s obsession and learnt to appreciate the fragments and artefacts of the past.
Not all junk is junk.
Ironically, this helped him move forward in accepting his own disability and memories without sentimentality.
