Angeli was warned about the forbidden room in her sprawling home.
Mother didn’t give enough reasons other than it contained monsters, and that was enough to deter her. She lived in a constant state of fear, as mother also said that evil spirits prowled the streets after six in the evening.
But when Angeli is lead to believe that her playmate was taken by the unearthly being in the forbidden room, she boldly ventures into the cold, dark room.
And she discovered that what laid there was not a monster, nor a sin. It was just a forsaken soul.
