Jack is stuck in a miserable retirement home, where the days are as dreary as the mouldy walls around him.
His roommate Charlie is a chatty one, and he has the bed by the window. Trapped with nothing much to do, Jack finds himself enjoying Charlie’s detailed narration of what’s going on in the park and coffee shop outside.
But why should Charlie get all the fun? Jack is getting tired of seeing things secondhand. He wants to see the view for himself.
Time for Charlie to vacate his bed…
