It’s Nadia’s turn to try and save the family now.
The political situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating. It’s not safe for them to stay there anymore.
Her father sells his elder daughter Nasreen as a bride to an old man, Gholam, in order to afford the remaining family’s escape from the country.
However, Nasreen’s marriage turns out to be a nightmare. Her husband beats her every night and her in-laws do not care about her either. To escape the torture, she runs away.
Gholam demands that the dowry be returned to him.
Seeing no other way out, Nadia’s father decides to marry her off to Gholam.
It’s the end of justice, the end of innocence. Will Nadia go through with it?
