Three women find peace and beauty in the midst of tragedy.
Laney is hospitalised for cancer. She’s positive despite her worsening condition and the disease.
She isn’t flippant about her condition, but it’s all she has to keep her spirits up. She jokes and fools around with her sister Mandy. The sisters are fond of each other and love each other dearly.
Cancer affects everyone in the family. But more importantly, Laney’s optimism and outlook on life was infectious.
Mandy takes pains to mend her relationship with her mother, even as Laney is wheeled in to the operation theatre.
She may not have long to live, but at least they still have each other.
