This girl was locked in a room with nothing but an old cassette player and a pair of headphones.
It was for her own good, as well as the safety of others.
She had been bitten by one of it, and it was only a matter of time before she transformed.
The music kept her calm, but things were starting to change. Especially the fear in her parent’s eyes.
The neighbour boy wasn’t easily scared off. He saw a potential playmate and reached out.
On a night that leaves their village ravaged, the two journey together to find refuge.
There was no safe space. But in their final moments, they weren’t alone.
