Mae and Ash had a special arrangement. Their trusting, open relationship was a working ideal, until her boyfriend let someone stay until after breakfast.
As the primary couple, they both enjoyed liberties when it came to sexual partners. There was a limit to that elasticity. There was fine line that they both treaded very carefully.
But the breakfast, on the day after, was very uncomfortable. Three was a crowd. And it got awfully lonely, because nobody was keeping scores anymore.
This short film won Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Female Performance at the NO BUDGE Awards, Audience Choice Award and Honorable Mention at the WAMM Festival, and Honorable Mention at the Landlocked Film Festival.
