Brian works for his dad in a boring sales job in insurance. His real passion was in comics and superheroes, and he was really looking forward to pitch his comic book idea to DC comics.
Problem: the pitch clashed with work, and an important insurance sales pitch.
In his panic he finds an unlikely sidekick: a kid who challenges the limitations that he had set for himself.
They achieved some success with some misadventure. But his efforts are belittled by his dad.
When he does return to the little kid, his friend, he made a discovery about what he had in him all the while.
He didn’t supersize his life immediately, but he found clarity.
Then he found acceptance, and a friend.
