Life is bleak for Kasmani.
As the father of a seven year old son, he struggles to provide not only for himself, but also his child. Even his most prized possessions are worth nothing at the pawn shop.
His circumstances become more dire when a thief steals his wallet. This means that he cannot even buy food for his son, who longingly wants to eat McDonald’s.
When the thief reappears, a golden opportunity presents itself.
Kasmani robs the thief of what wasn’t his.
When he is at the mosque soon after, Kasmani catches sight of a wallet.
Now it’s up to him to decide: to steal or not to steal? Will his desperation get the better of him?
