Viddsee Juree Awards is an initiative celebrating the entertainment industry’s picks of Asian short films from all genres: fiction, documentary and animation.
In this edition of Viddsee Juree Awards, Filipino filmmakers will be eligible for an opportunity for their films to be watched and judged by a panel of international jury. Each short film shortlisted for the competition will have the opportunity to be watched by millions online on Viddsee.com and selected for film screenings around various cities in the Philippines.
Recipients of the Gold and Silver Prizes will be awarded Production Grants worth PHP160,000 and PHP80,000 respectively, and get to work closely with Viddsee Studios throughout the making of the film, all the way to distribution.
Additional prizes include a 5-day Global Film & TV Program by the Motion Picture Association in LA, awesome audio equipment by RØDE accessories, and a 12-month Creative Cloud All Apps subscription worth US$560 each.
The panel of judges include Ben Thompson, a shorts programmer of the Tribeca Film Festival (United States); Amir Muhammad, a Malaysian publisher, writer and filmmaker; and Cherie Gil Eigenmann, an award-winning actress from the Philippines.
Juree is part of Viddsee’s commitment to celebrate and support filmmakers and film communities in Asia. Watch short films from Juree Indonesia and Juree Singapore here.
