Josh loves playtime, but his mum doesn’t have much of it — time, specifically.
She provides for him as well as she can, including nannies, toys, and a lovely home. Left to his own devices, Josh wrecks havoc at home, disrupting her work and her plans.
Grandpa comes to the rescue: he teaches Josh to use his own imagination to create stories, with a milk can that is filled with words as a ‘story starter’.
It’s very fulfilling to dive into a childlike imagination, and Josh does not disappoint: his story is filled with magical places, heroes, and villains.
It all ends well: Josh’s mum helps him create a happy ending, fittingly, for she, too, has a role in Josh’s epic fairytale.
‘Sali-Salita’ (Word Play) was directed by AF Benaza, an award-winning TV commercial director who created this film for Nestle in the Philippines.
