No one can stop them.
Here are two short films on girls and their coming of age to the world.
HER MOM LOCKS HER UP. BUT THE WOLVES AND THE WORLD COMES TO HER.
“For your own good” is something women and girls get a lot. It’s a big bad world out there, and so we’re told how to live our lives…. with precaution.
In this short film, a pious, obedient girl gets grounded, presumably for her own good.
Her mom leaves her for a night, but in the same night she has a worldly friend visit her. And then, also a stranger who appeared at her gates. A man.
What mommy doesn’t know cannot hurt her.

THESE GIRLS WERE READY FOR LIFE, WHETHER OR NOT LIFE WAS READY FOR THEM
Three girls escape a religious boarding school, playing out their fantasies in the wee hours of the night.
They find the outside world far more tempting than a good night’s rest. They oil the school gates, sneak out, get changed and dolled up.
They are hurtled into a few hours of self-discovery, satisfying their curiousity.
They were decidedly ready for life, whether or not life was ready for them.
